ModusLink increases customer satisfaction through improved system integration
“Our clients turn to us for our expertise in managing critical supply
chain processes. Ensuring our IT architecture can seamlessly integrate
with our clients’ systems is intrinsic to our success,” said During 2008 ModusLink invested significantly to replace its communication layer platform with an industry standard, robust solution to eliminate lost messages and increase the integrity of the data. The company also converted any customers on legacy platforms to its strategic messaging platform and expanded its use of validation logic to catch messages with inaccurate data earlier. Message tracking capabilities were added to the platform using Microsoft’s message-oriented middleware MOM tool. The result was no lost messages and significant improvement in customer satisfaction.
